Anyone else have that one dog tests far too many boundaries sometimes 😅 first time including mr Loki the spaniel to our mix of training drills. This one particularly helps with staying still till they here their names. And then proceeding to stay put until I’ve asked them to go. here's what I've learnt from this and how I'll approach things differently going forward: - the park is far too exciting a place for Pippin, need to build up to it with lower distraction areas first - meet his breed specific needs first before I ask him for calm. he needs to run and sniff freely and use his spaniel instincts, otherwise staying on lead just builds frustration and he isn't in the right mental state to work on neutrality - it's ok to change your plan for a training outing on the fl
