One clear difference between Lucifer and the Twenty-Four Elders is that Lucifer said in his heart, “I will exalt myself above the throne of God; I will be like the Most High.” Sometimes, the things we achieve or idolize can whisper that same pride into our hearts without us even realizing it. But the twenty-four elders chose a different heart posture, they cast their crowns continuously before the throne in worship. May this always be the posture of our hearts always be this.
