Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry helped his father, Dell Curry, become part of a new NBA record Saturday night.

The Thunder closed out 2025 with 86 wins, putting them in the same company as those Warriors and Bulls dynasties amid their pursuit of a second title. It's the fifth-most wins in a year by an NBA team, trailing only Stephen Curry's 2015 (88) and 2016 Warriors (87), the Phoenix Suns (88) in 2021, and Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls (89) in 1996.

Timofey Mozgov played a few years of pro basketball for his native Russia before coming to the NBA as an undrafted rookie in the 2010-11 season with the New York Knicks. He put himself on the NBA radar a bit when he won a world championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016 as a significant part of their center rotation.

Still, it’s amazing that James is still producing in his early 40s. James, who finished with 31 points against the Grizzlies on Friday night in a 128-121 victory, impressively made basketball history that’ll probably never be seen again in the NBA.

Today in Boston Celtics history, the team retired iconic Hall of Fame head coach and President of Basketball Operations Arnold Jacob "Red" Auerbach's jersey number in 1986.
