For awhile now I have brought up to our admin person that the light switch in the lunch room is electrically making crackling sounds, and will sometimes stay that way unless you jiggle it around.

I've found that sometimes if you are getting crackling noise you can fix it by changing pci slots or toggle your pci latency timer in your bios.
