TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Bay Lightning is set to drop the puck Sunday evening an an entirely new location – outdoors. The Bolts will take on the Boston Bruins Sunday evening in the NHL’s Stadium Series game taking place at Raymond James Stadium. And the weather is cooperating.

The Bruins are 4-1 in previous outdoor games and will make another appearance in the home of the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik broke his leg while snowmobiling and won't be able to attend Sunday's Stadium Series game vs. the Boston Bruins.

The challenge of building an outdoor rink in Tampa was a unique one for the NHL, given the sunshine, heat and humidity.
